About Us

Sunflower Preschool has over 20 years experience in Early Childhood Development & Education. We are licensed by the State Department of Education and the Municipality of Anchorage. Our teaching method is a thematic based curriculum, focusing on a different subject each week. Time is also dedicated to academics, letter and number recognition, writing/pre-writing, science and math skills.

We want to provide the best learning environment possible and limit the number of students for each classroom to 10.

We have an open door policy and invite parents to visit their child's classroom anytime. If you would like to be involved with your child's day at the school, please ask about volunteering.

Sunflower is an all day preschool and is open to children ages 2-6, Monday-Friday, 7am to 6pm, for 5, 3 or 2 days each week.
